Younes Laraki completed his ballet training from 1981 to 1985 at the University of Music and Dance in Hanover and then worked as a professional dancer at the Deutsche Oper Berlin until 1997. This was followed by training as a dance teacher. Through his teaching activities, he became particularly aware of the problem of dance physique, so that he began training as a physiotherapist in 2003. Since 2006 he has been supervising dance professionals and acrobats at the Friedrichstadt-Palast.
