I’m Jimmy, a London-based photographer with a love for capturing movement into bold, dynamic and contrast-rich imagery.

What excites me about photography is the challenge of translating motion into stillness – creating images that don’t just freeze a moment, but carries an energy, and narrative whilst allowing room for interpretation.

My eye for movement comes from my own background as a professional ballet dancer. After training at Central School of Ballet, I performed with companies such as English National Ballet, Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot, Semperoper Ballett, and Polunin Ink. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the precision, storytelling and attention to detail – a perspective I now bring to my photography.

Since moving behind the lens, I’ve worked with leading dancers, theatre makers, brands and commercial entities, from dancers in rehearsal to creating captivating campaign imagery. Across every project, my focus is the same: to merge the creativity and perspective of all those involved, creating a unique set of images every time.

By combining an insider’s understanding of movement and dance with a bold photographic style, I help clients translate their idea into an on screen and print reality.
