Washington Ballet – Summer Intensive
June 22 – July 24, 2026
About
Students are accepted into The Washington School of Ballet by attending an in-person audition or submitting a video audition. More Audition Information
Students attending the summer intensive who are also interested in enrolling in the following school year will be evaluated during summer classes. They do not need to attend a separate audition.
Advance registration is required for all in-person auditions at The Washington Ballet and walk-up registration will not be accepted. No need to bring a physical photo to the audition. Please upload a headshot to your profile when registering.
All students auditioning for TWSB programs will be placed by ability and readiness for the TWSB syllabus.
Dancers 12+ should have a minimum of 2-4 years of ballet training and Intermediate pointe work or have had 1-2 years of pointe.
All auditions and placement classes carry a fee due at the time of registration.
