To The Pointe Nutrition – For dancers
Because of the vulnerable nature of dancers to disordered eating and eating disorders, dancers, dance educators, and parents must rely on sound sources for nutrition, weight, and related education— credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD or RDN) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LD or LDN) is recommended. In this workshop, dancers learn how to:
Maximize their plates to gain the nutrients their bodies need most.
Optimize energy levels for performance.
Build balanced meals that support training needs and muscle recovery.
Choose healthy and convenient snacks.
Reduce risk for injury.
Prevent early-onset fatigue.
Cultivate a positive relationship with food and body.
About
Hi! I’m Rachel
I’m a former professional dancer turned multi-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I’ve dedicated my career to supporting dancers in healing from dancer diet culture (ya know… those confusing messages telling you what’s “good” and what’s “bad” for performance.)
I’d love for you to join the thousands of dancers who work to implement my unique, 6-step approach. The Healthy Dancer® teaches you how to fuel for performance in a way that builds supportive relationships with both food and body.
