The Dance Physio (Robin Holland) – Appointment

As dancers, we are never satisfied, but instead are constantly pushing physical boundaries in pursuit of higher extensions, more explosive jumps, more creative movement patterns. This constant demand on our bodies can lead to aches and pains, overuse, and ultimately injury. As a specialist dance physiotherapist, I understand the demands of dance training and how it affects the body. As a dance physiotherapist, I seek to apply the science of human anatomy and kinesiology to real world dancers and dance training. With this understanding of how the body works, I can provide individualised and sport-specific guidance to help you recover from an injury and come back stronger and fitter, and therefore a better dancer. I can also analyse your movement and technique to provide a tailor-made training program to address your areas of weakness, help you improve your technique, prevent injury, and achieve the best form possible.
