About
Birmingham Royal Ballet is one of the founding partners of the National Institute of Dance, Medicine & Science (NIDMS), whose mission is to promote the development, implementation and dissemination of scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice centred on the promotion and optimisation of health, well-being and performance in dance through healthcare, research and education.
NIDMS currently has three healthcare centres in the UK: an NHS clinic based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London; and private specialist dance healthcare services offered by Laban Health in London and BRB’s very own Jerwood Centre in Birmingham.
