What We’re Looking For
Ability to teach multiple age groups, from preschool dancers to advanced teens
Strong foundation in at least two dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, tap, or acro preferred)
Clear understanding of age-appropriate classroom structure and progression
A teacher who prioritizes student confidence, discipline, and joy
Professional, punctual, organized, and communicative
Someone who contributes positively to a team-driven, supportive studio culture
Preferred Qualifications
Formal dance training and/or college-level dance education
Prior teaching experience in a studio setting
Experience working with children
Comfort collaborating with assistants and fellow faculty
Willingness to grow, receive feedback, and align with studio curriculum
Availability to relocate?: Relocating required
About
Fusion Dance Solana Beach is seeking a well-rounded, passionate dance educator to join our growing faculty. This role is ideal for a teacher who values strong technique, positive culture, and meaningful connections with students.
We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Turns and Leaps, Acro, and more. From 2yrs old to 18yrs old Beginners to Advanced.
We are looking for a dance teacher who is confident teaching ages 2 through 18, can adapt their instruction to different learning styles, and brings both technical knowledge and emotional intelligence into the classroom.
This position may include recreational classes, technique-based training, and opportunities within our performance and competition programs, depending on experience.
