Expressions In Motion Dance – Dance Instructor

We are looking for an energetic and passionate dance teacher to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year! The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children ages 3-11 in beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet.

Responsibilities:

• Teach jazz, hip-hop, and ballet classes for children ages 3-11
• Create age-appropriate lesson plans that balance technique, fun, and creativity
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Choreograph routines for recitals
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during class

Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching dance to young children
• Strong knowledge of beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet techniques
• High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids
• Ability to create a structured yet fun classroom environment
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Excellent classroom management skills

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time hours, normally 2:00 – 4:30 timeframe
• Competitive pay based on experience
• Opportunities for additional teaching hours in the morning and evening depending on availability of classes and experience.
