Essential Qualifications:
** Strong Pedagogical Skills: Expertise in teaching ballet techniques, fostering musicality, and promoting safe dance practices, alongside the ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
**Secondary Qualifications (an advantage): Royal Academy of Dance- RAD Certification: Must hold a valid RAD teaching qualification, such as the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS), or higher-level certifications (e.g., the RAD Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies). This ensures adherence to RAD syllabus standards and methodology when required.
**Comprehensive Knowledge of the RAD Syllabus: Proficiency in the RAD graded and vocational syllabus, ensuring structured and progressive instruction tailored to students’ levels.
Additional Experience for Stage Performance Showcases:
1. Proven Performance Preparation Skills: Demonstrated experience in choreographing and preparing students for stage performances, including technique refinement, stage presence, and rehearsal management.
2. Versatile Dance Teaching Experience: Capability in teaching various dance styles—such as jazz, contemporary, and tap—across all age groups, enhancing students’ versatility for showcases.
3. Creative Collaboration and Leadership: Experience collaborating with production teams, designing costumes, and managing logistics for successful performance execution.
Education
-Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field
-B.A. (Hons) Ballet Education (or similar undergraduate degree)
Professional Certifications:
-Certified Ballet Teacher
-Registered Ballet Teacher
Experience:
-With Professional level experience within three (3) years of teaching experience
-Pre-Primary in Dance up to Intermediate/Advanced Foundation
-Judging experience is an advantage
Other Skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups of staff and students
-Demonstrated involvement as a practicing artist in the specific disciplines or specializations of the respective style of dance
Requirements:
-Holding a valid International Driving license or GCC driving license or being able to convert the current driving license to a Qatar driving license is an advantage.
-Ages 21 to 35
-Must be able to adequately communicate in English.

About
Full-time Female Lead Ballet Teacher with expertise in Pointe, Ballet, and Choreography. Background in Mommy & Me and Preschool Dance is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
-Teach ballet classes to students from 15 months to adults with the ability to prepare students for showcases (and RAD exams is an advantage)
-Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that foster technical proficiency, artistic expression, and a love for dance.
-Choreograph, co-organize and be part of the school shows/ Ballet showcase
-Implement a hands-on/hands-off, artistic approach to teaching ensuring that participants are fully engaged and working toward specific goals
-Stay up to date in teaching areas/disciplines including licenses, training or certificates as applicable
Other Responsibilities:
-Assist with Recreation activities and Group Fitness Programs on Special events (such as Seasonal Camps and Qatar National Sports Day).
-Accomplish weekly & monthly reports and attend mandatory meetings as designated by both Company Operations Manager and Managing Partner.
