Preparing for a good audition shoot
There are a few things to consider when preparing for a good audition shoot. You should agree with the photographer beforehand what you have in mind and how the shoot with him will go.

You should practice the poses and movements in front of a mirror beforehand. It’s good if you have support from a teacher or another person who knows what it’s all about.

You can bring a teacher or another dancer to the shoot. You can support, inspire and coach each other. You are also welcome to come to the audition photo session in pairs or threes.

If you want, in addition to the audition photos for ballet or modern dance, there is also time for “freestyle” dance photos. A good portrait photo is always part of it.

If you are coming alone, you should choose for the photo call for ballet or modern dance photos. If you come in several, it takes correspondingly longer.

If you are a group, a semester or a class, you can contact me together. If your time and mine allows, I can come to you for the audition shoot. This is worthwhile for you for a group size between 10 and 20 people. For this purpose, it would be good if in your dance school has a suitable room for the shoot.
