Alberta Ballet – Summer Intensive
Age Requirements: Ballet Students in Grades 5-8: register for auditions as a junior student. Ballet Students in Grades 9-12: register for auditions as a senior student. Ballet Students who have graduated high school: learn more about our Post Graduate Program.

About
Alberta Ballet School offers an intensive summer program designed to enhance your technique and artistry under the guidance of our renowned instructors. During this program, students will train 30 hours per week in ballet, pointe work, contemporary dance, and other disciplines, with mentorship from our acclaimed teachers.
Our intensive summer program is more than just training; it’s also about connection. You’ll train alongside peers from Canada and around the world with a shared passion for dance.
This program also serves as a final audition for those who wish to join our full-year program in September.
Summer Intensive is designed to strengthen and develop your skills as a dancer, and is an opportunity to explore a short term commitment to intensive professional ballet training and connect with students from around the world.
Auditioning at one of our Audition Tour locations, online or via video is your first step towards Summer Intensive acceptance and also into the full year 2026-2027 program.
