Born in Paderborn in 1960, a few years in Berlin and since 1998 in Karlsruhe. Since 2008 I have been working part-time as a photographer.

My passion lies in photographing people, especially artists, such as dancers, musicians and actors.

After studying civil engineering, I worked full-time in hydraulic engineering testing. There I deal with the “technical side” of photography, photogrammetry, among other things.

Method of operation
I have a small portrait studio in Karlsruhe. In many cases, I take my photos in other places. For dance photography I can use a really suitable large dance studio in Karlsruhe. Shooting outside is also often a good option.

Often they will experience me alone as a photographer. But I also really enjoy working in a team. For larger projects, help with assistants. For unusual projects, for example, I sometimes hire a fire-breather friend.
